Is the lock down the end of everything in life?

His Excellence, President Yoweri Museveni K. on the 14th of April, officially announced that Uganda’s lock down would be extended for another 21 days which are three weeks in total. The President, while addressing the nation acknowledged that Uganda was not prepared for this pandemic that has killed several people worldwide due to the limited facilities and so many other reasons. The 21-day lock down extension will run until 5th May, 2020 as the health professionals work hard to minimize and treat the current cases in Uganda, and as well of new cases that could be discovered along the way.

All these are still precautions that the Government of Uganda is putting in place for the sake of fighting, monitoring and finding out different ways of preventing and overcoming the deadly Covid-19. The Government is doing all these for the good of all Ugandans, looking at the fact that Uganda does not have enough facilities to fight the disease. The only way is through the lock down until better precautions are found, depending on the deadly nature of the disease and basing on the fact that it neither spares the young nor the old, blacks or whites, short or tall, fat or tall.

This is still another a wake up call to us all Ugandans to be patient and follow the precautions of the Government for our good and for the good of the coming generation.

Well, it is truly a hard moment as it sounds, but it is better than battling with the disease and losing everything that you have including your loved ones. I am very much a ware that there those who even lack what to eat at the moment, but that is not the end of it all, the Bible says in Job 14:7, For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch there of will no cease.

The little faith that you have in God can move mountains, just trust God for provision even in this season, for there is hope for you. God remains God in every situation, even in this one, there is nothing too big for Him. Put your eyes on Him for that is where your help comes from.

The Lock down is not the end of it all, life still continues even after the lock down. There is hope for you, just embrace and prepare yourself for the best, God has a better plan for you, All ”this is working for your good”

Don’t fear! Remember God is above Covid-19. Just trust Him, He who watches over you never, sleeps nor slumbers. He is there to take care of you.

Brief descriptions of my view/opinions about the extension of the lock down by His Execellence, President Yoweri Museveni Kagutta.
